Giving

Please help us by giving towards our mission and/or community work in our parish.

Our main costs are our Parish Share* of around £10K and our day to day bills of around £5K, on top of this we have all of our repair and maintenance work and regular safety inspections for our church and churchyard - everything from roof repairs to fire safety to heating repairs to tree management, which for a Grade II listed building and historic churchyard can add up each year!

*As a Parish Church, we pay our own way entirely and we receive no funding support from the Church of England, instead we pay the Church of England our Parish Share to help fund a vicar who works part time in our Parish and to provide training for our lay ministers and other volunteers. Every other role/work in our church is voluntary- from lay ministers to cafe volunteers to churchyard maintenance!

We have so many great things going on with ministry and community work as you can see from our Website but we are in need of funds to support and grow this work! We are one of our country's leading lights of a very active and growing village parish church when so many other village churches seem in decline... please support us in any way you can. With so many thanks from all at All Saints Little Bealings.

Here are the ways you can give:

Parish Giving Scheme

The Parish Giving Scheme enables a regular monthly donation, which we restrict to ministry costs, rather than events or Little Bealings Community Hub Cafe. Having a regular amount coming in every month in this way helps us greatly with planning for our church mission. Gift aid is handled automatically for taxpayers, which saves us on administration work.

The PGS can also be used for one off donations- this is especially useful if you are already a member of the scheme.

You can join the PGS scheme here:   Join the PGS Scheme

The link takes you to the All Saints Little Bealings PGS page which has PGS reference 330633158.

Standing Orders

This is the alternative for regular giving on a timescale you choose (monthly, weekly, or other). We can't set this up for you and you would set this up yourself with your bank or by using your online banking app. Please state our account number and sort code shown under "Bank Transfer" below, and use a reference by which we can identify your donation, for example your initial and your surname.

Monies go to our General Fund unless you have informed us of a restriction e.g. "Community Work". If you are a taxpayer it helps us greatly if you can send us a Gift Aid form, to make your donation worth 25% more at no extra cost to you.

Bank Transfer

You can donate directly to our bank account from your own bank or online bank account. This can be best for larger "one off" donations of over £30.

All Saints Church Little Bealings , Sort Code 20-98-07  Account Number 10583898

Please use a reference by which we can identify your donation, for example your initial and surname. Monies go to our General Fund unless you have informed us of a restriction e.g. "Community Work". If you are a taxpayer it helps us greatly if you can send us a Gift Aid form, to make your donation worth 25% more at no extra cost to you.

Cash or Cheques

It may be you wish to donate using cash or cheque, which is best if you feel you wish to donate or top up a donation at the loose collection at one of our services or events.

For all loose collections made this way, if your donation is up to £30, we can automatically claim gift aid whether you are a taxpayer or not making your donation worth 25% more. If your donation is over £30 in a loose collection and you are a taxpayer, please flag this to us so it can be recorded separately.

All loose collections go into our General Fund.

Card Payments

Our church has a "Sum Up" card reader which takes payments from all major cards via the card or your smartphone (if your phone is set up for payments). This can be a very convenient way of making a donation. We don't receive the entire sum however as there is a 1.5% fee from the payment system provider.

All card donations go to our General Fund unless you inform us of any restriction. If you are a taxpayer it helps us greatly if you can send us a Gift Aid form, to make your donation worth 25% more at no extra cost to you.

Gift Aid it

Gift aid enables us to reclaim 25% more from HMRC for your donation at no extra cost to you if you are a taxpayer. You simply make a declaration that you are a taxpayer to us and we cross reference your donations to claim 25% more from HMRC. If you use the Parish Giving Scheme, this is a part of your joining process. If you use any other method, please complete our Gift Aid Form and return this to us at a service or send to our Treasurer Ian Ransome (contact below).

If you don't pay tax you don't have to feel left out. There is a special HMRC scheme where we can claim 25% on all loose collection donations scheme  up to a certain maximum total, as long as your individual donation at each specific service or event is £30 or less.
